Potential Conflicts of Interest

I am currently employed by the National Institutes of Health as a Presidential Management Fellow. As a graduate student, I was employed as an assistant with the National Science Foundation, as a teaching assistant at Iowa State University, and as a research assistant under a USDA-ARS researcher. When I was an undergraduate, I was employed part-time by USDA-APHIS in Beltsville, MD.

Brandon Bodnar provides some technical assistance for this site. He was previously employed by Pioneer Hi-Bred as a software engineer.

Financial

I have written one compensated article to date, with funding that originated from the USDA (find details in the Author’s Notes in the post Risk assessment and mitigation of AquAdvantage salmon). All of my other writing has been done without compensation. Any costs associated with this website are paid by me personally. There are no sponsors here, and I am not paid for my work.
